India, England 3rd test starts from tomorrow at Trent Bridge
Virat Kohli tried to look at the positive side of India’s current situation in the five-Test series against England and said it was not a bad thing for his team to be playing with their backs against the wall. India trail the series 0-2 after losing at Edgbaston and Lord’s.
Under Kohli, India had bounced back to win a Test series previously in Sri Lanka three years ago. They had somehow managed to lose the first match after dominating Sri Lanka for most of the Test before winning the next two to clinch a historic series triumph.
Kohli, who has been India’s best batsman by far on the overseas tours of South Africa and England this year, said with the series on the line, there is no room for India to think of anything else other than winning the third Test. If India lose in Nottingham next week, it will only be the second series defeat for Kohli the skipper.
