IMD Predicts Dense Fog in Odisha on January 26 and 27

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast dense fog in several districts of Odisha on January 26 and 27, along with dry weather and stable night temperatures over the next four to five days.

According to the IMD’s regional center, dense fog is expected in one or two places across the districts of Jajpur, Kendrapada, Khurda, Puri, Cuttack, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Koraput, Nabarangapur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Sundargarh, and Jagatsinghpur on Sunday, January 26. A Yellow Warning has been issued for these areas.

Additionally, shallow to moderate fog is likely to occur in the early morning hours of Monday, January 27, in the same districts. Dense fog is also expected at one or two locations in Angul, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Khurda, Cuttack, Nayagarh, Koraput, Nabarangapur, Kalahandi, and Kandhamal on the same day.

The IMD has advised caution while traveling, especially during early morning hours, due to reduced visibility caused by the fog.
