IMD Issues Yellow Warning for Dense Fog in Four Odisha Districts

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Bhubaneswar has issued a yellow warning for dense fog in four districts of Odisha. Dense fog is expected at one or two locations in Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Balangir, and Nabarangpur districts until 8:30 AM on December 28.

According to the IMD, dry weather is likely to prevail across Odisha, with shallow to moderate fog anticipated in Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, and Keonjhar districts.

Additionally, light rain may occur at one or two places in Bargarh, Balangir, Nuapada, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, and Sonepur districts between 8:30 AM on December 28 and 8:30 AM on December 29.

From December 29 to December 30, light rain is forecast for Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Kandhamal, and Kalahandi, while dry weather will prevail in the remaining districts.

Dry conditions are expected across the state from 8:30 AM on December 30 to 8:30 AM on December 31, the IMD added.
