IMD Issues Heat Wave Warning for 9 Districts
Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): The Regional Meteorological Centre here has issued heat wave warning for nine districts of Odisha for today. Heat wave condition is very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Subarnapur, Boudh, Angul, Balangir, Nayagarh, Mayurbhanj and Baleswar today, the Meteorological Centre forecasted.
It has also issued heat wave warning for multiple districts for tomorrow. Heat wave condition is very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Sambalpur, Subarnapur, Boudh, Angul and Balangir tomorrow, it said. The Meteorological Centre has advised people to take precautionary measures while going outside between 11 am and 3.30 pm in these districts.
Maximum temperature (day temperature) is very likely to rise by 2 degree Celsius during the next 24 hours and no large change during subsequent two days over the districts of Odisha. It will fall by 2-3 degree Celsius thereafter over the districts of Odisha, it predicted.
