IMD Issues Fog Warning For Odisha
Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Bhubaneswar has issued a fog warning for a total of four districts of Odisha.
As per the prediction of the IMD, shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundergarh, Keonjhar, Kandhamal and Kalahandi from November 27 to till morning of November 28.
Besides, dry weather is very likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha, the weather department said adding that the minimum temperature (night temperature) is very likely to rise by 2-4 degree Celsius during next 3 days and no large change thereafter in subsequent 2 days over the districts of Odisha.
Meanwhile, the office of the Special Relief Commissioner advised the police and transport officials of the respective districts to take necessary steps for controlled plying of vehicles on highways during dense fog to avoid any road accident.
