IMD Issues Dense Fog Warning for 4 Districts

Bhubaneswar: Odisha is set to experience a rise in temperatures, providing some relief from the ongoing winter cold. The state has witnessed dense fog in several areas, and according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the night temperature is expected to increase starting today.

The change in weather is attributed to the impact of western disturbances, which will lead to the development of a high-pressure area around January 22 and 23. This will allow warm, humid air to flow into the state, resulting in a rise in temperatures.

Additionally, the IMD has issued a yellow warning for dense fog in four districts: Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Kendrapara, and Kandhamal. Residents in these areas are advised to exercise caution.
