IMD Forecasts Dense Fog, Yellow Warning for Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The regional center of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast dense fog over several districts of Odisha and issued a Yellow Warning.
According to the IMD, dense fog is likely at isolated places in Kalahandi, Kandhamal, and Bhadrak districts until 8:30 AM tomorrow. Additionally, shallow to moderate fog may occur in parts of Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Cuttack, Khurda, Puri, Ganjam, and Gajapati during this period.
Dense fog is also expected in Kalahandi, Kandhamal, and Bhadrak districts from January 15 to January 16 morning, prompting another Yellow Warning. Dry weather is likely across the state during this time.
The IMD noted no significant change in night temperatures for the next three days, with a drop of 2-3°C expected thereafter.
