Illuminated Duo of Odisha Politics

Bhubaneswar (Surjit Kumar Dhal): The Odisha politics seems to be unhealthy without two names, who were always put themselves in the formation of strong BJD and developed Odisha. The duo is non-other than Member of Legislative Assembly Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak and Former MLA from Bramhagiri Sanjay Das Burma.

Unfortunately Sanjay, lost his election in 2019. But his effort to strengthen the party is still continues with charm. He is now in-charge of BJD membership collection drive with Jajpur MLA Pranab Prakash Das. With or without any post or membership in Legislative Assembly, Burma always remains in between the public of his constituency as well as with the citizen of the State. He was the Minister of State (Ind), Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare and Minister of State (Ind), Employment & Technical Education & Training in Odisha Government. He was removed during ministry reshuffle. He is a two time MLA representing Brahmagiri constituency.

Similarly Another diamond of Odisha politics is Anatu Sabyasachi Nayak, who is currently in the Assembly from Mahakalpada constituency. He was a four time MLA from Kendrapada district. Three times from Mahakalpada and once from Patkura. He was formerly the Health Minister and resigned after the SUM Hospital Fire tragedy in 2016. Various programmes, many more initiatives and major steps to develop the Health care system were taken by Atanu when he heads the ministry. His surprise visit to any place puts the corrupt official in terror.

Their prompt work in party and in public is appreciated by all his colleague as well as the party chief. Both Atanu and Sanjay are the real diamond. Whether in any post or as a simple worker, the duo serve the State and the party with all their energy and true spirit.
