IDCO: The Black Empire

Bhubaneswar (Surjit Kumar Dhal): The Infrastructure Development Corporation Of Odisha Ltd. has become a hotbed of corruption. It is well known that IDCO provides land for industrial setups in Bhubaneswar. But for some corrupt employees of this organization, there has been widespread irregularities in the availability of industrial land in Bhubaneswar. Despite meeting all the criterias, there is a lack of suitable land and efficient entrepreneures are frustrated. But IDCO failed to reclaim the land from the unlawful occupiers. No action is being taken against the occupiers or no land is being handed over to others. This is possible for some IDCO employees.

As mentioned earlier, Pushparaj Pradhan, a former IDCO official, his brother and one OAS officer Mr. Jena are in charge of allotting land in the capital. After Pradhan, OAS Natha Sharma and Banashree Rath took the black crown and fearlessly do what they want. Those who are able to heat the pockets of these officers are getting large land in high profile areas like Mancheswar Industrial Estate and Chandaka.

Now a days vigilance raid in several officials unveiled crores of inappropriate money. The question is that, when the bird eye of Odisha Vigilance spotted on IDCO empire? For a corruption free state the Vigilance should enter into the corruption hub named IDCO.
