IAS officer Aparjita Sarangi to join politics

Bhubaneswar: Senior IAS officer Aparajita Sarangi’s application for voluntary retirement has been accepted by the Odisha Government.

On Wednesday (November 14), the State Government conveyed Sarangi’s cadre clearance to the Union Ministry of Personnel, along with the necessary Vigilance and Departmental clearances.

Speaking to OMMCOM NEWS, the 1994-batch IAS officer confirmed that she will be joining politics soon.

“I am joining politics and want to join the nation building process. Whichever party offers that opportunity, I will be joining it. Once am inducted into a party, I will communicate,” Sarangi said.
