HSC Exam to Begin from April 29

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): In view of improvement in COVID-19 situation in the state, Odisha Government today announced that the annual Matric Examination-2022 will be held from April 29 to May 6.  

Informing this at a presser, Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mohapatra said the Matric Summative Assessment-II will be held on offline mode. It is mandatory for all the students to appear in the examination. The evaluation of the board exam will be done by three methods.  

It has been decided that the exam will held on one subject each day. Students will appear the Summative Assessment-II in their own schools while  teachers from other schools will be engaged as invigilators, the official informed. He said discussions were held with all stakeholders, including students and parents before taking the decision to conduct the exam on offline mode.
