Houses of Two Lashkar Terrorists Involved in Pahalgam Attack Demolished in South Kashmir

Srinagar, April 25: In a strong message to terror operatives, security forces and Jammu & Kashmir authorities on Friday demolished the houses of two Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists suspected to be involved in the recent Pahalgam terror attack that left 26 civilians dead several injured.
The residence of Adil Hussain Thoker in Bijbehara, Anantnag, was blown up using improvised explosive devices (IEDs), while the house of Asif Sheikh in Tral, Pulwama, was demolished using a bulldozer. Both militants are believed to have played key roles in facilitating the April 22 attack, which targeted tourists in the Baisaran Valley.
According to officials, the demolitions were carried out based on intelligence inputs and evidence linking the two to the planning and execution of the terror strike. The entire operation was conducted under heavy security to avoid any civilian casualties or disruption in the area. Adil Thoker is believed to have provided logistical support to the Pakistani terrorists who carried out the massacre, while Asif Sheikh was reportedly involved in coordinating movements and shelter.
This action is part of a broader counter-terror strategy underway in the Valley to dismantle support networks and safe havens used by terrorist outfits. The crackdown includes active operations, demolitions, arrests, and public appeals for information.
Meanwhile, the Anantnag Police have announced a cash reward of Rs 20 lakh for credible information on three main suspects: Adil Thoker, and two Pakistani nationals, Ali Bhai and Hashim Musa. Their sketches have been released, and a massive manhunt is currently in progress. The targeted demolition of these homes sends a strong signal that individuals aiding terrorism will be held accountable, not just legally, but also through direct action against any infrastructure supporting such activities.
