Hemgir Tehsildar Suspended for Negligence in Duty

Sundargarh: The Odisha Government on Saturday suspended Hemgir Tehsildar Labanyendu Mohanty for alleged negligence of duty in Sundargarh district.

The suspension follows a report from the Sundargarh Collector highlighting Mohanty’s dereliction of duty. Acting on the recommendation, the Revenue and Disaster Management Department issued the suspension order.

According to the directive, Mohanty will be stationed at the Sundargarh Collectorate until further notice and is prohibited from leaving the district headquarters without the Collector’s prior approval.
