Heavy to extremely heavy rainfall warning for Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The MeT Bhubaneswar has issued warning for heavy to very heavy rainfall along with extremely heavy rainfall warning in the State of Odisha on Monday.
According to reports, a double low pressure is likely to be experienced soon. Today, a low pressure area is likely to form in northwest Madhya Pradesh and its adjoining areas. Along with this, another low pressure area may form in the northwest Bay of Bengal and the coast of West Bengal and Odisha.
Due to this, the Meteorological Center has estimated the possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall with thunderstorms in various districts of Odisha between the July 13 to July 17.
Orange alert has been issued for six districts for heavy to very heavy rainfall today. Yellow alert has been issued for ten districts for heavy rainfall. The Regional Meteorological Center has estimated heavy rainfall in various districts of the state until the July 18.
It is worth mentioning here that, fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea for the next 24 hours.
