Heatwave in Odisha to return

Bhubaneswar: A heatwave will prevail in Odisha for the next 7 days. The maximum temperature in the state will increase by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius in the coming day.
The temperature and humidity will rise in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Puri, Khorda, Nayagarh, Ganjam and Gajapati districts.
On May 11, 12 and 13 the heatwave in Odisha to intensify with the western districts facing the most of it. Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Balangir, Boudh and Sundargarh district will experience the heatwave. The regional centre of IMD has issued a yellow warning for heatwave.
Hirakud and Angul recorded a maximumof 40.1 degrees Celsius. Titlagarh and Boudh recorded 40 degrees Celsius while other districts recorded lesser temperature.
