Guidelines Issued for Aahaar Centres

Bhubaneswar (Mrutyunjaya Bhoi): In view of the Coronavirus outbreak, Housing and Urban Development Department of the Odisha issued several guidelines for regulation of services at Aahaar centres.

Serving time at Aahaar centres during day has been extended from 10 AM to 4 PM to slow down movement of people and decongest the centres.

People have to make a queue at the centres and the distance between two individuals should be minimum 1.5 metre. Hand wash facility will be placed outside the centres and people need to wash their hands before entry.

For purchasing token for food, beneficiaries will be asked to drop money inside the box kept for the purpose to minimise physical contacts. Token counters will be regularly sanitised.
