Governor appreciates NALCO’s role in industrial growth

Bhubaneswar, July 25: Odisha Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati today appreciated the contribution of National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) in driving the state’s industrial growth.

 Dr. Kambhampati visited the Corporate Office of  NALCO in Bhubaneswar and planted a sapling under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ initiative underscoring the importance of environmental sustainability and green development.

Brijendra Pratap Singh, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, NALCO, along with the company’s Directors and senior officials, extended a warm welcome to the Governor.

During the visit, Dr. Kambhampati held fruitful discussions with NALCO’s leadership team.

He lauded NALCO for its vital role as the only Central Public Sector Enterprise headquartered in Odisha and its contribution to driving the state’s industrial growth.

He further acknowledged the company’s efforts in aligning with the national vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’.
