Golden baba on two day remand

Golden baba has been taken on 2 day police remand by (EOW) Economic Offences Wingof  crime branch on Friday here.

The Commissionerate Police today recommended the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Odisha Crime Branch (CB) for  investigationas mystery shrouded over his criminal kingdom.

As per sources in its initial investigation, police came to know about his political as well as criminal links.

Golden baba popularly known as JyotiRanjanBeura has been arrested on December 31 on fraud charges following a complaint lodged by a resident of Barbil in Keonjhar district.

Sources said a total of 19 cases have been registered against him at various police stations, including four in Bhubaneswar. Beura used to attend various programmes of BJD in Bhubaneswar identifying himself as the party worker.
