Girl brings misbehaving case against former MLA Debendra Kanhar

A girl has filed a complaint in Sadar police station of Phulbani against former Phulbani MLA Debendra Kanhar and his driver for trespassing into house of a girl and misbehaving with the girl and her mother. The girl is resident of Goudapada under Sadar police limits alleged that on Sunday night Kanhar and his driver Rinku Sahoo trespassed into her house misbehaved with her and beaten her mother.

Kandhamal Additional SP Utkal Ranjan Dash said “we have registered a case under sections 451 (house-trespass), 294 (obscene act), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 354 (molestation), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 370 (exploitation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against the two.”
