General Nanda Kishore Sahoo Takes Charge of DG Dental Services

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): Odia army officer Lieutenant General Nanda Kishore Sahoo, VSM took the charge as Director General Dental Services & Colonel Commandant of Army Dental Corps.

General Sahoo is the first Odia officer to assume this office. Sahoo, an alumnus of King George’s Medical University and a Post Graduate from Mumbai University, has held multiple offices including Command of a unit in Kashmir Valley, Command Advisor of Western, Central and Southern Commands during 37 years of his military career.

After assuming office, Sahu encouraged his fellow workers to continue working with enthusiasm.  It is pertinent to mention here, Lieutenant General Sahoo is an internationally acclaimed author, teacher, and winner of the KS Master silver medal. He is also recipient of five Commendations and the Presidential Award, Vishisht Seva Medal (VSM).
