Ganja Seized in Smart City

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): In a special operation, the Commissionerate Police Cuttack-Bhubaneswar today seized a huge amount of Ganja worth Rs 5 lakh being smuggled in a car in Tamando area here.

Acting on a tipoff, a special squad of the Commissionerate Police conducted a crackdown and intercepted a car in Tamando area. The cops recovered Ganja from the car dicky and arrested three occupants of the vehicle.

During interrogation, it was revealed that the contraband item was being smuggled from Phulbani to Salia Sahi Basti here. Further interrogation of the accused is underway, police said.
