Four Killed, Three Injured in Mayurbhanj Truck Accident

Mayurbhanj: A series of tragic accidents involving an iron-laden truck on National Highway 220 under Tiring police station limits claimed four lives and left three critically injured on Saturday.

According to reports, the truck first struck two pedestrians on a morning walk, killing one and seriously injuring the other. Moments later, the truck collided with an auto rickshaw carrying two passengers and the driver. All three occupants of the auto rickshaw died on the spot.

The couple in the auto rickshaw had just returned from a bus journey from Cuttack and were on their way home. The incident has cast a pall of gloom over the area, with residents in shock over the devastating chain of events.
