Former MLA Purushottam Sethi Dies at 93

Bhadrak (Reporters Today Bureau): Veteran Odisha politician and former Member of Legislative Assembly, Purushottam Sethi passed away today. He was 93.

The veteran was suffering from old age-ailments since a long time. He breathed his last at around 7.30 am this morning.

Born at Ranipada village under Sanasasan panchayat in Bhadrak, Purushottam had represented Bhandaripokhari Assembly Constituency in 1980-85. He had earned fame by serving the state as the Indian National Congress’ district president of undivided Balasore district and chairperson of various corporations.
