Foreigner Spotted in Srimandir

Puri: A foreign national was spotted in Puri Jagannath temple during the Snana Jatra, performed on Sunday. However, the devotee was reportedly asked to come out of the temple by the security personnel.

Sources said, tens of thousands of devotees thronged Puri Jagannath temple in the morning to witness the Snana Yatra of the holy Trinity. Amid the crowd moving towards the Snana Mandap, a foreign national was reportedly found who was leaving for the core temple.

Being aware of it, a Jagannath Temple policeman stopped the stranger on the Baisi Pahacha(holy 22-steps) and escorted him out of the temple. The identification of the stranger is yet to be ascertained.
