Fire Guts Soft Drink Factory in Ganjam

Berhampur: A major fire broke out at a soft drink factory in Kodala, Ganjam district, on Wednesday morning, causing property damage worth over ₹1 crore.

The blaze, reportedly caused by an electrical short circuit, destroyed machines and raw materials used for beverage production. Firefighters from the Kodala fire department promptly reached the site and extinguished the flames, preventing further spread.

Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident. Authorities are investigating to confirm the exact cause of the fire.
