Fire Breaks Out At Rourkela Steel Plant In Odisha

Rourkela (Reporters Today Bureau): A major fire broke out at the Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) in Odisha. The mishap took place around 3 am properties worth lakhs.

As per reports, the fire caught in the control room of the Steel Melting Shop (SMS)-2  due to which the control room was severely damaged.

On getting information, Fire Services personnel immediately arrived at the steel plant to extinguish  the flames

A four-member team has been set up by the RSP authorities to ascertain the cause of the fire.

Fortunately, no casualties have been reported in the incident. Work at SMS-II has been temporarily stopped after the accident.
