FICCI President, adresses US industry leaders on investment opportunities in INDIA
Praising about India and its presence FICCI and Managing Director of Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Limited (IMFA) said, “There’s a lot of interest in India’s growth story”. The discussion was during a roundtable on “Investing in the India Decade” attended by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
The roundtable was organised by FICCI and the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum on the sidelines of the Spring Meeting of the IMF in Washington DC.
“When it comes to any large corporation looking at growth, it’s impossible to do so without having a presence in India”, he added. In his remarks, Panda highlighted the ease of doing business, infrastructure development, and various reforms undertaken by the Government to promote inclusive, resilient, and sustainable growth in India.
Senior business leaders across industrial sectors attended the roundtable. Panda is leading a FICCI delegation to Washington DC, and also had a meeting with Shaktikanta Das, Governor of Reserve Bank of India.
