Experts begins examine Srimandir sanctum sanctorum

A joint team comprising officials of Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), Works department engineers and members of Srimandir technical committee today began examining the status of sanctum sanctorum after the presiding deities’ annual sojourn to Srigundicha temple.
After inspecting the sanctum sanctorum inside the shrine, the ASI team members will hold a review meeting.
According to reports, the repair work of the affected parts of the shrine will be made after preparing a detailed report about the structural condition of the temple.
It is worth mentioning that the ASI and the Works department had installed a portal frame at Jagamohan and repaired its pillars and beams to strengthen the crumbling structure.
