Elephant Tramples Woman To Death

Bhubaneswar, Aug 4(Reporters Today Bureau): A woman was trampled to death by an elephant when she was on her way to the farmland at Achalkote village under Athgarh Forest Division in Cuttack district on Friday.

The woman has been identified as Niasa Rout.

Tension prevailed in the area following the incident. The villagers are demanding compensation to the next of kin.
