Eight Workers Injured in Explosion at Tata Steel Plant in Jajpur

Bhubaneswar: At least eight workers, including a woman, sustained injuries following an explosion at the steel melting shop of Tata Steel Plant in Kalinga Nagar, Jajpur, on Friday afternoon.

According to reports, the mishap occurred around noon while the workers were engaged in routine operations. Suddenly, an explosion rocked the steel melting shop, leaving at least eight employees with burn injuries.

The injured workers were immediately rushed to the plant’s health facility for medical treatment.

Upon receiving information, local police and administrative officials arrived at the site and initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the explosion. Further details are awaited as the probe continues.
