Double Murder Link: Movie on Anup Sai to Hit Screens Soon

Bhubaneswar (Adarsh Rout):  The Chhattisgarh double murder episode, which was masterminded by former MLA Anup Sai will hit the silver screen soon.

Famous Odia film producer Sridhar Martha will produce the film titled as ‘Mayabini’ under the banner of Range Royal Cine Lab. The producer made the announcement and released of the flick in the state capital today. The Range Royal Cine Lab had recently made the movie ‘Patnagarh ’based on the incident of parcel bomb case.  He debuted in the Odia film industry as a producer with ‘Katha Deli Matha Chuin’.

Recently, the Chhattisgarh police arrested Anup Sai for murdering a mother-daughter in 2016. The police claimed Anup had extra marital affairs with perished Kalpana Das (32), who was a divorcee and had a 14-year-old daughter.

Anup had purchased a huge flat in Sundarpada area and the mother-daughter duo was staying in the flat from 2011 to 2016. When Kalpana started insisting him to marry and demanded share from his property, the ex-lawmaker plotted to kill her.
