Domestic Dispute in Ganjam: Man Strangled to Death by Wife

Ganjam: In a tragic turn of events, woman killed her husband following a heated domestic dispute on Tuesday night. The shocking incident took place in Mundamarai village under Dharakote police limits Ganjam district.

The deceased has been identified as Amar Nayak and his wife has been identified as Anjana. The woman killed her husband by strangling him.

As per sources, a quarrel broke out between Amar and his wife Anjana over an unknown reason on the previous day of the incident.

In a fit of rage, Anjana reportedly strangled her husband to death following the conflict. Upon receiving the information police reached the spot and recovered the body. They detained the accused wife for interrogation.

A probe into the incident has been launched and further investigation is underway. However, the exact cause behind the dispute that led to the murder is yet to be ascertained.
