Dibyang Girl Raped in Rairangpur

Rairangpur (Reporters Today Bureau): A dibyang minor girl was allegedly raped by her relative while she was playing with her brother near their residence. The shameful incident was reported from Kuldiha village in Mayurbhanj district.

According to reports, the incident occurred when the minor girl was playing with her minor sibling at a paddy stalk and their family members were busy at winnowing paddy near the residence.

The accused relative advanced towards the minor girl with evil intention and raped her. He threatened the victim if she discloses about the incident to anyone. However, the victim’s brother, who was the eye witness of the incident, revealed it to the family and subsequently the members indulged in altercation with themselves over the issue. The police team along with a scientific team from Baripada is currently investigating the matter.
