Diarrhea Scare in Nuapada: 16 Affected, 6 Critical

Nuapada: Diarrhea panic has gripped Nangalboard village in the Sinapali block of Nuapada district in Odisha. So far, 16 people from the village have been affected by diarrhea, with 6 in critical condition.

Two patients have been shifted to the Nuapada District Head quarter Hospital for further treatment, while the others are being treated at the Sinapali Community Health Center (CHC).

The diarrhea outbreak has been reported in the village for the past three days. An ambulance has been dispatched from the Sinapali hospital to transport the affected persons to the hospital.

Notably, some school children have also fallen ill due to diarrhea. Besides, three pigs in the village have also reportedly been affected as well.
