Dense fog to continue for next 2 days

Bhubaneswar: Dense fog in Odisha is disrupting daily life activities. The winter chilliness might have lowered but the foggy mornings are a plight for the people. Many accidents are occurring due to reduced visibility in the roads. The IMD has issued a yellow warning to 12 districts for today and 4 districts for tomorrow.
As a result of the dense fog, the visibility has reduced to less than 50 metres. As per the latest bulletin of IMD the fog is likely to continue till 10.00 am. The night temperature is likely to further increase after two days by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius.
The dry cold winds will flow into the Bay of Bengal from the Northwest direction. Following the cold winds, the night temperature is likely to decrease by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius today. For the next two days the temperature and the fog will be a reason of worry for the people.
At some places, zero visibility due to fog was witnessed. Vehicle commuters are suggested to be cautious especially in Ghats. After two days the 2 to 3 degrees Celsius is likely to increase said IMD. The Indian Meteorological Centre said that in parts of coastal and western Odisha will record a temperature of 35 degrees Celsius.
