Delhi Government Imposes Night Curfew From 10 pm to 5 am Till April 30

Delhi Authorities imposed a seven-hour night curfew from Tuesday till April 30 in a view of the rising cases of coronavirus disease (Covid-19). The announcement about the night curfew from 10 pm to 5 am comes a day after Delhi on Monday recorded 3,548 cases of coronavirus disease.
Exemptions
- Those who want to get vaccinated during these hours will be exempted from showing an e-pass.
- Passengers going to or coming from the airport, railway station, or bus station will be allowed to move if they show their travel ticket.
- Shopkeepers selling goods such as ration, groceries, vegetables, milk, and medicines will be unaffected by the new restriction only if they have an e-pass.
- Members of the print and electronic media will also be allowed to move with an e-pass.
- Healthcare workers, including private doctors, nurses, and paramedical staff, will be exempted from showing their identity cards.
- Pregnant women and those who are ill and require medical care will be allowed to move.
- All those engaged in essential services will be exempted.
- Public transport services, including buses, metro, autos, taxis, and so on, will only be available to those who fall under one of the above-mentioned exemption categories.
According to the Delhi government health bulletin, a total of 3,548 fresh Covid-19 cases and 15 deaths were reported in the city in the last 24 hours on Monday.
