Darshan of Lord Jagannath, sibling deities to remain closed for 5 hours at Sri Gundicha temple

Puri: Public darshan of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra as well as Lord Sudarshana will be temporarily closed for 5 hours today at the Sri Gundicha temple. This was informed by the temple administration today.

As per reports, devotees will be deprived of darshan of the deities for about 5 hours today night at the Adapa Mandapa of Sri Gundicha temple. Today, Monday, on the fifth day of Asadha Shukla Chaturthi, the public darshan of the deities will be stopped.

Therefore, after completion of the second Bhogamandap Bhog, public darshan of the deities will be closed from around 9.00 pm to 2.00 am. Then, after the Banaka niti rituals are over, i.e. after 2 am, devotees can have darshan of Mahaprabhu, the information said.
