DA Hiked For Odisha Govt. Employees

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): Announcing Dussehra gift for Government employees and pensioners, Odisha Government today hiked Dearness Allowance (DA) by 11 % with effect from July 2021.

With this, the DA is increased to 28 % from the existing 17 %.

This will benefit a total of four lakh employees and 3.5 lakh pensioners in the state, said Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. The arrears from July 1,2021 will be credited to the accounts of Government employees and pensioners this month.
