Cuttack: Youth found dead inside locked house

Cuttack: The body of a youth has been recovered from a locked house in Cuttack city of Odisha today morning. He was found dead in the Nuasahi area under Bidanasi Police Station limits in Cuttack.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.

As per reports, the body of the youth was found hanging inside a locked house inside a religious institution. The youth had gone to bed after taking food last afternoon. He had locked the door of the house from inside. The inmates informed the police about the incident at night.

After getting information Bidanasi police reached the spot, broke the door and entered inside when it was found that the youth was hanging from a ceiling fan inside the house.

The body was recovered while Police also initiated investigation in this regard. The body has been sent for autopsy while further investigation of the case is underway to ascertain whether this is a case of murder or suicide.
