Cuttack Railway Station’s New East-Side Building to Open Dec 7

Bhubaneswar: Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw will inaugurate the newly constructed east-side building of Cuttack Railway Station during his visit to Odisha on December 7.

The new facility, designed to provide seamless access from National Highway-16, aims to enhance passenger circulation, public amenities, and overall travel experience. According to a statement by the Railways, the project will significantly improve passenger convenience and safety, marking a major milestone in Odisha’s railway infrastructure development.

“This initiative aligns with the vision of building a world-class rail network,” the Railways stated.

Minister Vaishnaw is expected to return to New Delhi on December 8. His visit underscores the government’s commitment to strengthening infrastructure and improving travel convenience, particularly in the eastern region of the country.
