Cuttack: Massive Fire Breaks Out in Shopping Mall

Cuttack: A major fire mishap occurred at a shopping mall based in Dolamundai in Cuttack city. The fire suddenly broke out in the shopping complex and two show rooms were gutted in fire.

Smoke bellowed out from the shopping showrooms and the entire areas was filled with smoke. The exact reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained.

The buildings housed a number of popular brands of clothing, luggage and footwear. Two fire tenders were engaged to douse the fire in  Cuttack based showroom. Later on three more fire brigades were used to bring the fire under control.

It was found that the fire broke out due to a short circuit in the Air conditioner. Following the fire mishap, vehicle plying in the Badambadi-Dolamundai road have been blocked.
