Corona Scare: Section 144 Imposed in Jajpur

Jajpur (Reporters Today Bureau): After Ganjam, district administration of Jajpur today imposed Section 144 to avoid spreading of Coronavirus in the area.

Besides, leaves of all Government servants in the district have been cancelled. Baruni Snana that was scheduled to be held on March 21 has also been cancelled. Following the prohibitory orders, gathering of more than five persons at one place in the district has been restricted.

Meanwhile, leaves of Government servants in Bhadrak, Puri and Rayagada districts have also been cancelled.

As part of precautionary measures, the Ganjam administration yesterday had clamped Section 144 in the district. Today, the District Magistrate and Berhampur Municipal  Corporation Commissioner ordered closure of all shopping malls and showrooms in Berhampur to curb spreading of the daedly virus named Corona.
