Corona Scare: Odisha Govt Issues Advisory for School Students

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): In view of the spread of deadly disease Corona virus and rising number of cases across the nation, the State government today directed education authorities to create awareness among students for prevention of the deadly infections.

Odisha School Education Programme Authority issued an advisory to all the district education officers (DEOs), district project coordinators (DPCs) and block education officers (BEOs) to spread the awareness to tackle Corona virus.

The authorities suggested the officials to create awareness especially among the school going students on do’s and don’ts for prevention of the infections.

The authorities said that all the headmasters of schools be directed to create awareness among the students of all the government and private schools.

The advisory came just a day after the Ministry of Human Resource Development wrote a letter to Chief Secretaries of all the states including Odisha urging to direct all the schools to create awareness amongst the students on deadly corona virus outbreak that has claimed more than 3,000 lives globally.
