Corona Scare: All Religious Places in Odisha to Shut Doors for Devotees

Bhubaneswar (Pramit Pramathes): Amid Coronavirus fear, the state government today asked all district magistrates to restrict entry of general public into religious places, including temples, mosques, churches and gurudwaras, in their respective districts from tomorrow.

Essential rituals at these places of worship will continue. Earlier in the day, the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration had imposed similar restrictions on devotee visiting the Jagannath Temple in Puri for ‘darshan’ of the Lords.
