Corona Hits Junior Hockey WC

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): COVID-19 hit ongoing FIH Hockey Men’s Junior World Cup-2021 here creating panic among organisers as well as players as one person tested positive for the virus.

Despite entry ban of audience into the Kalinga Stadium and all the matches are being held inside a bio-bubble, one COVID positive case was detected on December 3.

The infectee is a social media team member of the Sports and Youth Services Department, Odisha Government. Further details awaited.
