Corona Crisis: Odisha Govt Signs MoU with Private Hospitals

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau):  The Government of Odisha today inked MoU with two private hospitals in the Smart City to tackle the deadly Coronavirus situation.

The agreement was signed between the state Government and authorities of Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) and SUM Hospital for construction of temporary wards for the pandemic.

Following this agreement, Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) University Vice-Chancellor Ashok Kumar Mahapatra said a 500-bedded COVID-19 ward will be set up in four days and it will have with 20 ICUs.

Besides, KIMS will set up a 450-bedded ward for the purpose shortly, said Founder of KIIT and KISS Achyuta Samanta
