Conditional Bail Granted to IAS Bijay Ketan Upadhyay

(Adarsh Rout) Cuttack: Orissa High Court today granted conditional bail to IAS Bijay Ketan Upadhyay. He was arrested for allegedly taking bribe.

Allowing the bail to the bureaucrat, the High Court mentioned that the lower court will put the conditions.

The Vigilance had arrested Bijay Ketan in Bhubaneswar on on 30 December, 2019 when he was allegedly accepting bribe of Rs 1 lakh for clearing bills. Bijay was the Director of the Odisha Horticulture Department. Further investigation of the case is going on.
