College Staff in Vigilance Trap

Bramhapur (Reporters Today Bureau): Vigilance sleuths today recovered more than Rs 18 lakh during raid at multiple places in connection with allegation against Prashant Kumar Nayak, DLR typist, Lingaraj Law College, Bramhapur regarding possession of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Simultaneous searches were carried out by officers of the anti-corruption agency at Nayak’s triple storied building-cum-motor spare parts shop at Aska Road, Berhampur, his triple storied residential building at Bank Colony, Berhampur, his double storied godown at Aska road, Berhampur, his rented godown at Brundabati Nagar, Berhampur, and his rented godown at Bishnunagar, Berhampur.

Cash of Rs 18,05,010 was recovered by the officials from his house during the raid. Till last reports came in, the searches were underway.
