Cold Wave to Decrease From January 13
Bhubaneswar: A thick blanket of fog can be seen in the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. In other parts of Odisha fog and the cold wave can be witnessed. Visibility for up to 20 metres has been limited as a result of fog.
IMD predicted that the cold wave will decrease and the temperature is likely to increase by two to four degrees Celsius after two days. In the central and coastal parts of Odisha, cold wave can be expected. Thick blanket of fog can be seen in Sundargarh, Dhenkanal, Angul, Kandhamal and Koraput. These districts have been issued a yellow warning by the IMD.
In the next 24 hours Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Khurda, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara and Kalahandi will experience light to moderate fog. Similarly, Koraput, Kandhamal, Dhenkanal, Sambalpur and Sundargarh also have been issued a yellow warning for cold.
