Cognizant CEO, Odisha CM Plan Mega Campus

Bhubaneswar: Ravi Kumar S, CEO of Cognizant, met Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi during the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas in Bhubaneswar to discuss plans for expanding Cognizant’s presence in the state.

The discussion focused on developing a new Cognizant campus in Bhubaneswar, envisioned as the company’s largest facility in India. CM Majhi assured full support from the state government, including the allocation of suitable land in the capital city to facilitate the project.

Ravi Kumar expressed satisfaction with the growth of Cognizant’s operations in Bhubaneswar and stated that the company’s presence in the city is expected to expand significantly over the next five years.

The Chief Minister also sought Cognizant’s cooperation in attracting further investments to Odisha’s IT/ITeS sector. Ravi Kumar assured his support for the state’s efforts to bolster its IT industry and bring in more investments.

During the meeting, the CM congratulated Ravi Kumar on being honored with the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman for his contributions.
